Performs work in the preparation and implementation of economic development initiatives. Plans programs and services focused on identifying and attracting new businesses to the community, supporting the growth and development of existing businesses, and the administration of incentive- based programs. This person serves as a City liaison working with local business associations, commercial brokers, private property owners, and other public, private, and non-profit groups. Acts as a City liaison with local business organizations working to facilitate comprehensive advertising and cross-marketing campaigns to promote Elmhurst businesses and public activities.
